Mirus Plugins/Devices not Available or will not Load (RED X by each plugin)

Description


If after installing or updating Mirus, you experience a RED X by each device or plugin and it is not available to load, it could be caused by some corruption that might have occured withn the Mirus system files.  

 

Fix

  1. Uninstall Mirus and delete or rename the C:\HarvestMaster\Mirus folder. 
    • WARNING: Be sure to capture the Mirus serial number and unlock code located in the "mirus.act" file located at: C:\HarvestMaster\Mirus\System (this is a hidden folder). To unhide, click on the "View" tab and make sure the "Hidden items" box is checked: 
  2. Reinstall Mirus and register using same serial number and unlock code
    • Calibration and settings should be loaded back into Mirus from the GrainGage/Device when connected.  Howevever, it is always good practice to check both settings and calibrations.  
    • Moisture curves can be copied from the old Mirus folder to the new one located at: C:\HarvestMaster\Mirus\Config\<<Name of GrainGage>>\Curves
    • Special script files can be copied from the old Mirus folder to the new one located at: C:\HarvestMaster\Mirus\Config\<<Name of GrainGage>>\Scripts
