Device has been disabled due to an error by DSP or Actuator module

Description

If Mirus reports a device has been disabled due to an error by the DSP or Actuator module, it means the system cannot communicate with the needed modules in order to function properly.

Fix

  1. Check status lights on each module (including the system console) to ensure there is power (solid green LED) and system is functioning normally (flashing yellow LED).  The red LED should not be flashing.  If RED LED is flashing, jump to step#6.
  2. Check CAN and Power cables for intermittent power issues by wiggling both the connector ends and wire connections to the main power source.
  3. If using CAN to USB cable, try running it with the cable plugged directly into a USB port on the tablet. If already plugged into the tablet, try plugging the USB cable into another port on the tablet.
  4. Using the service utility located at:"C:\HarvestMaster\Mirus\Devices\HM800\Tools" or "C:\HarvestMaster\Mirus\Devices\H-SeriesGG\Tools" (if using Mirus software version 4.6 or newer) to see if Mirus will connect to any of the modules.  This will help indicate what module(s) might be causing the issue.
  5. Disconnect CAN and Power cables from all modules for 15-20 minutes. While waiting, you can check to ensure all Windows updates are current and reboot tablet
  6. Reconnect all CAN and Power cables.
  7. Using the service utility (same as mentioned above), try refreshing the firmware on all the modules that are not communicating or are indicating an intermittent error.
