H2 Twin GrainGage - Mirus Locks When Countdown Timer Reaches Zero
11 Nov 2024
Problem Description
Intermittent lockup when harvesting strip plots. When the countdown timer reaches zero, the "Cycle" button turns RED and shows "Cycle Requested." Taking trait notes and using the Non-Stop plugin may increase the chance of this happening.
Potential Fixes
- Update firmware to 7.55.2 or later.
- If unable to update to a later version of firmware, following is a workaround:
- Set the Level Clear Delay to zero. This will shorten the cleanout time by 1 second so you may also want to add 1 second to the countdown timer (if still need time for the cleanout). This should not lengthen the cycle process any longer than before.
- If system continues to lock-up, the operator can be instructed to add the ECU Emulator tool to one of their quad views within Mirus. To do this, follow these steps:
-
- Enable Developer Mode by pressing CTRL F8 when at the HOME screen of Mirus.
- Configure one of the four quadrants to use the ECU Emulator screen.
- The operator can then click the ECU Emulator's "Software Trip Cycle" (see screen capture below) to bypass the lockup state. Mirus will then finish the plot and save the data. If it has not already been mixed with the next plot, the data should be good.
