Pneumatic system setup and maintenance

When using a pneumatic system to control an on-combine seed research harvest system such as a High Capacity or Classic (HM-1000b) GrainGage, it is recommended to setup the system to include the following components:

• Air Compressor (recommended 2cfm set at 55psi)
• Reservoir air tank
• Pneumatic Conditioning Center Kit*
• Additional water separator (for humid climates)

* Pneumatic Conditioning Center Kits regulate and lubricate the air. They are available from multiple compressor manufactures such as Bosch (recommended).

For best system performance, it is suggested to perform the following daily maintenance tasks during harvest season:

• Blow accumulated moisture from air tank and hoses nightly
• Drain (discharge) air pressure from system nightly
